I couldn't really think of a name for this log. Just knew that I didn't want it to be boring. Ever since I've seen Shrek, the Donkey has personified the happiness of being what you are and doing what you do. I mean the creature doesn't even have a pompous name like Puss-in-Boots. Its just 'DONKEY' and its still the most lovable character in the 2hrs of the film. Its peppy, sensitive, cute & stupid all at the same time.
The sequence I remember the most from the movie was when Shrek, Fiona and the Donkey are going to the Kingdom of Far Far Away and the Donkey gets impatient wanting the journey to end. He keeps asking 'Are we there yet?' almost as soon as Shrek replies 'No' to it. The Donkey's expressions with drooping ears & the snoozy eyes made me wish the sequence would never end.
But if it were 'Real' life and not 'Reel' life, the Donkey's expressions would be more of what's in the image here. Happy that it isn't all ending yet. Who wants the journey to end when you are having so much fun! So lets hope its always a 'No' in life to the big question 'Are we there yet?'. Hope the fun continues till we are actually there!
